This camera was mainly used by the RAF for air reconnaissance at WW II.
This is the "Hand-held" version with a "Gun-Like Trigger".
Somebody told me it was present in every bomber, ready to use when the crew saw some enemy buildings, structures or army movements.
The F24 was also used fixed in a Spitfire, lysander, etc.
Of this particular camera, the mechanic, housing and lens are in a superb state!
To bad the (plastic) curtain is broken due to age.
